These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of counter.praveshsinghal.com ("we", "us", "the Site"), a free AI prompt character counter and aspect ratio calculator. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the service

The Site provides free, browser-based tools to count characters, words and estimated tokens in AI prompts, and to calculate aspect ratios and pixel dimensions. All processing happens locally in your browser; we do not receive, store or view the prompt text you type unless you separately choose to email it to us.

2. No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Token estimates are approximations based on common heuristics and may not exactly match the tokenizer used by any specific AI provider. Character limits and guidance shown reflect our understanding of each platform's publicly documented behaviour at the time of writing and may change without notice — always verify against the official platform if precision matters.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to process or generate unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Site's functionality.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's design, code, and branding are owned by Pravesh Singhal. You retain full ownership of any prompt text you write or process using the tools.

5. Third-party services

The Site may load third-party scripts (such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense) that operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any loss, rejected AI prompt, or damages arising from the use of this Site or reliance on its character/token estimates or guidance.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
