About this tool
FLUX (from Black Forest Labs) pairs a CLIP encoder with a T5 text encoder, which is specifically designed to understand longer, more natural-language descriptions than older CLIP-only models like Stable Diffusion 1.5.
That means you can generally write more descriptive, sentence-style prompts in FLUX without losing as much influence from later words — though extremely long prompts can still dilute focus on your primary subject.
Use this counter to keep an eye on total length while you write, and check the guidance panel for FLUX-specific recommendations as your prompt grows.
Frequently asked questions
Does FLUX support longer prompts than Midjourney?
FLUX's T5 text encoder is generally better suited to longer, natural-language prompts than Midjourney's more traditional prompt parsing, though extremely long prompts can still dilute focus.
